SERVICE INQUIRIES

We're here to help. VIA assists families with identifying and accessing clinical and educational resources and support.

School Services

  • AGES SERVED: Kindergarten – 22 years
  • LOCATIONS: Charlottesville, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Lexington
  • FUNDING: When a student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) recommends private day placement and the VIA Day Schools are identified as the right setting, public school funds cover costs. Private pay may be an option for some families.
  • ENROLLMENT PROCESS: Students must be referred to VIA by their school district as a result of their IEP process.
  • NEXT STEPS: If your central Virginia public school district has recommended private day placement as part of your child’s IEP, please have your school district contact VIA directly. If not, VIA’s Behavioral Health Services may be an option, especially for those ages 2 – 22. If you need more information about the IEP process, contact your local school district.
