Early intervention services can make a significant difference in a child’s development.

VIA’s early intensive behavioral intervention program provides specialized support for young children with autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders. We focus on developing communication, social interactions, cognitive skills, and behavior regulation, using evidence-based techniques, to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. The clinic-based program integrates personalized, one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and collaborative speech and language therapy (SLP) services to meet each child’s unique needs. 

The program incorporates parent training, equipping families with the tools and strategies needed to support their child’s development at home and in the community. Regular parent training sessions ensure that parents are actively involved in the therapy process and are able to work on a variety of skills in everyday settings, creating a consistent and supportive environment for the child.

Our program also includes a strong school readiness focus, preparing children for the academic and social demands of a school environment. Through targeted interventions, we help children develop essential skills like following directions, participating in group activities, and managing transitions, all of which are critical for a successful transition to school. By addressing both behavioral and communication skills, VIA ensures that children are equipped to thrive in school and beyond.
